Carla Kazimir, PT
Carla graduated from Mount St. Mary’s College in 1985. She worked at Sherman Oaks Hospital for 10 years and spent 15 years managing the Physical Therapy at Villa Scalabrini Retirement Center and Special Care Unit. In 2009, she opened this private practice. Carla is certified as a provider for Graston Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. She is trained in Kinesio Taping. Most recently she has spent time taking courses in movement analysis and manual therapy under the direction of Clare Frank and Shirley Sahrmann. Carla enjoys being active in the community. She was a Girl Scout Leader for many years. She was the President of her Church Women's Group for seven years. She is on the Board of Directors and a member of the Senior Service business council for the Northridge Chamber of Commerce. When asked about why she opened her practice- "I enjoy the autonomy of treating patients the way I would want to be treated. I have invested in the best equipment and I consistently keep up to date in new treatment techniques. I am proud of my clinic and my wonderful staff. Julia Fetherman, PT
Julia graduated from the physical therapy program at the University of Southern California. She also has her Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology from UC Irvine. Julia initially worked in pediatrics at a Developmental Center and in the school setting primarily treating children with cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and developmental disabilities. She transitioned to orthopedics through the mentorship of a private practice physical therapist trained through the Kaiser Hayward orthopedic residency program.
She has worked in a variety of settings including pediatrics, outpatient, private practice, and home health. Throughout her career, Julia has made a consistent effort to keep up to date with the latest physical therapy techniques and treatments including attending APTA Combined Section Meeting, Certification in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment, and multiple continuing education courses in pediatrics, manual therapy, orthopedic and sports physical therapy.
In her free time she enjoys reading, lifelong learning, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
Kimberly Morain, PTA, Certified Personal Trainer
Kimmy graduated from Concorde College's Physical Therapy Assistant Program. Kimmy also has her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Cal State Northridge. She is a certified personal trainer. Kimmy enjoys teaching the PT students in the clinic and is credentialed by the American Physical Therapy Association as a Clinical Instructor. In her free time she enjoys working out and spending time with family and friends.
Baran Mohseni, PT Aide
Baran Mohseni is originally from Iran, Baran is bilingual in both Farsi and English. She currently working on her Bachelor's degree in Public Health from Cal State Fullerton University. She aspires to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy. and is currently employed as a Physical Therapist Aide.
Additionally, she serves as a Telemetry department coordinator and health scholar at Hoag Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach. Baran is also actively pursuing a personal training certificate. This endeavor is intended to provide her with valuable experience in preparation for her future career.
During her free time, she enjoys playing the Piano and Tennis.
Jennifer Gloria, Patient Coordinator
Jennifer is from Sunland, California. She graduated from North-West College and began working at North Valley Physical Therapy in 2020. Besides her job, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves going to concerts, fairs, and taking walks with her loyal dog, Nova.
